LOVE THESE LANTERNS

Hand blown glass lanterns, mercury bottles, and little blue bird votives are a must for all spaces indoor or out this summer. We have grouped together a few sizes of lanterns for an eclectic look, but there are many ways to hang these. This summer, I am excited to enjoy them hanging from my back porch!

I LIKE MY PEARS PEAR SHAPED

A Chinese farmer has been tinkering with modified pears since 2003, and this year he's reportedly grown 10,000 edible Buddhas. The technique, which took Gao Xianzhang six years to perfect, involves confining each piece of fruit in a plastic mold
for a certain amount of time as it grows. There are no reports on the flavor just yet, but that’s presumably not much of a priority.
Does anyone else think this is bizarre?

Spring Fashion

Post after post, it is pretty obvious that we here on Talcott Av. are so excited about spring. Buds popping out from the ground and birds chirping are all signs that we are moments from fully bloomed flower beds.
Due to the inspiration, we picked out some of our favorite florals to share with you.

GYPSY

"Gypsy Interiors and Gypsy Architecture is a collection of portraits capturing people and architecture wanting to demonstrate it has found and built a place to live and the future in our society without losing gypsy values.
These are unprecedented portraits of a long underground and secretive society suddenly and mysteriously willing to surface and make an extravagant ritual announcement to the outside world of their material achievement and affluence".
